About Us
Our Organization
The Division of Financial Management (DFM) is the Governor's budget and policy office and is part of the Executive Office of the Governor. It is headed by the Administrator, Wayne Hammon. Including the Administrator, there are 19 full time positions (FTPs) within DFM.
There are four bureaus within DFM: the Budget Bureau, the Management Services Bureau, Policy Bureau, and the Economic Analysis Bureau. These bureaus work closely with one another and the rest of state government to provide fiscal and policy guidance, oversight, and management services on behalf of the Governor.
Outcome Based Vision
The Division of Financial Management is dedicated to promoting government productivity and efficiency by creating and implementing informed policy analysis, accurate revenue forecasts and adequate budgets for the State of Idaho. The Division sees automation as the key to improved efficiencies and strives to decrease paper work and bureaucracy by improving systems such as the Budget Development System, Single Audit, Executive Agency Legislative Information System, and web based communication tools. The Division of Financial Management will be a customer service oriented organization that will lead by example in working with the Governor, the Legislature, state agencies, and employees to streamline state government operations.
